- Role Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with 8 years of experience in designing and delivering interactive dashboards and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong data visualization expertise, solid SQL skills, and experience working with large datasets to drive business insights.
- Key Responsibilities
- • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server
- • Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations
- • Develop complex calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, and filters
- • Optimize dashboard performance and improve load times
- • Create and manage data extracts and live connections
- • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- • Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency
- • Publish and manage dashboards on Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
- • Provide support and enhancements for existing reports
- • Follow best practices for visualization standards and governance
- Required Skills
- 8 years of experience in Tableau Development
- • Strong expertise in: o Tableau Desktop o Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud o Dashboard design & data storytelling
- • Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, aggregations)
- • Experience working with databases like Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
- • Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Fact/Dimension, Star Schema)
- • Experience in performance tuning dashboards
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good to Have
- • Experience with Snowflake or cloud data platforms
- • Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, IICS, Alteryx, etc.)
- • Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis
- • Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- • Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist / Certified Data Analyst)
- Optional – Domain Experience (Preferred)
- • Exposure to Healthcare / Life Sciences analytics
