Our client is looking for an experienced Senior AWS / BI Developer to support the migration of 3 to 4 complex QlikView applications to Amazon QuickSight.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the existing QlikView applications, understanding the underlying data models and reporting requirements, and rebuilding or migrating the applications into AWS QuickSight.
- Analyze and assess 3–4 existing complex QlikView applications.
- Understand existing data models, dashboards, reports, calculations and business logic.
- Design and develop equivalent reporting and analytics solutions using Amazon QuickSight.
- Migrate and transform QlikView applications into the AWS environment.
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets and visualizations within Amazon QuickSight.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are accurately translated.
- Validate migrated applications and ensure data accuracy and reporting functionality.
- Identify potential migration challenges, dependencies and optimization opportunities.
- Provide recommendations on the estimated effort and timeline based on the complexity of each application.
- Collaborate with the client and technical teams throughout the migration process.
RequirementsRequired Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience as a Senior BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly Amazon QuickSight.
- Proven experience with QlikView, including complex applications, dashboards and data models.
- Previous experience migrating or modernizing BI and reporting platforms.
- Strong understanding of:

- SQL
- BI reporting and dashboard development
- AWS data and analytics services
