Senior BI & Analytics Engineer

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineer this role will focus on maintaining a consolidated financial database, creating insightful dashboards and analyzing the business for trends and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and technical capabilities, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to be the owner of our financial data as a public company and partner with Sr. Leadership to drive financial improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own Financial Data Integrity: Working closely with our Data Engineering Team, ensure financial data is accurate, regularly processed and analytically engineered through our Snowflake database and readily available for analysis via DBT.
• KPIs Definition and Calculation: Work with Finance leadership to define and calculate our KPIs for distribution to Sr. Mgmt, BoD and public markets.
• Visualization: Leveraging our BI tool, Tableau, create and maintain dashboards that Sales and Finance leadership use to monitor the business. Create monthly/quarterly reporting packages combining various metrics across the company for dissemination to Sr. Mgmt.
• Analysis: Utilize your BI skillset to analyze financial data for actionable insights. Present these findings to Finance leadership with influence on the business.
• Data Support: Run ad hoc data queries to support initiatives across Finance and Sales that are critical to everything from customer analysis to audit support.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau
• Experience with Snowflake / DBT or other data warehousing solutions and reporting technologies.
• Ability to develop and maintain dashboards and reports
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite data is a plus
