The Impact you will have in this role:

Responsible for day-to-day benefits activities, including interfacing with Benefits Third Party administrators, benefits consultants, Payroll and Benefits Managers to ensure error free execution of Benefit processing activities, including Open Enrollment, Wellbeing, content creation on DTCC's internal communication platform, Disability and other core benefits.

This is specific for the US market and will be an extended resource to projects in the APAC region.

 Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Benefits team members on implementation of core benefit processes, including Health and Welfare
  • Manages implementation of Wellbeing initiatives in the US by assisting with program communication, implementation and results tracking; assists with Benefits in Canada
  • Understand and ensure plans are compliant with local, state and federal regulations, including but not limited ERISA, IRC, COBRA, PPACA, FMLA and HIPAA.
  • Support global market review of benefits competitiveness, documenting market trend research and maintaining pulse on regulatory changes impacting benefits
  • Helps execute against vendor management process, ensuring risk and control processes in place minimize gaps and address risk
  • Participates in development and delivery of benefits-related communications (memos, virtual sessions, etc.).
  • Provides backup to team members for their assigned Benefits area.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues/errors with US vendors and/or payroll
  • Support internal and external audit activities by responding to requests for evidence and providing information about benefits processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation to accurately reflect benefits processes
  • Provides data management, analytics and reporting support
  • Oversees the administration of leave of absence management
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
  • Should have Basic project management skills and can lead complex projects.
  • Will need to learn process automation
  • Should have a strong employee engagement experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Must be amenable to work EMEA shift for the first 3 months/US hours as permanent shift schedule
