Mantle Network aims to be the "Liquidity Chain" to drive capital efficiency in the on-chain economy through modular architecture, data availability solutions, and zero-knowledge proofs.
We are looking for a Senior DeFi Specialist to lead and execute DeFi strategies within the Mantle Network ecosystem. This role involves spearheading DeFi partnerships, liquidity mining initiatives, protocol integrations, and yield optimization strategies to drive adoption and sustainable growth for Mantle’s ecosystem.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with partners, developers, traders, and liquidity providers to optimize DeFi opportunities across Mantle’s infrastructure, ensuring a strong presence in the on-chain finance landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Source, pitch, nurture and close deals with top-tier DeFi protocols, developers and builders with a goal toward building collaboration and composability within the wider Mantle ecosystem.
Design and implement DeFi growth strategies that maximize protocol adoption, TVL, and liquidity across Mantle.
Optimize yield farming, staking, lending, and other liquidity incentive programs.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with institutional players, including asset issuers, asset managers, tokenization platforms,.
Drive cross-chain integrations with other L1s/L2s, bridges, and liquidity pools.
Collaborate with wallet providers, aggregators, and market makers to enhance accessibility and liquidity flow.
Work with institutional market makers and liquidity providers to optimize order book depth and trading activity.
Analyze on-chain liquidity metrics to refine strategies for capital efficiency.
Collaborate with the product team to define and prioritize product features and requirements in accordance to LP needs, ensuring they align with the overall product vision and strategy.
Conduct deep research on DeFi trends, protocols, and new financial models to keep Mantle at the forefront of innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the product team to identify and develop features that will enhance Mantle's position as a DeFi market leader.
Proactively propose new financial primitives internally and externally that enhance Mantle’s value proposition in DeFi.
Publish insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Represent Mantle at DeFi-focused conferences, hackathons, and community events.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
3–5 years of proven track record in DeFi, crypto, or blockchain-related roles
Hands-on experience with liquidity mining, yield farming, or DeFi protocol integrations
Familiarity with Ethereum Layer 2 solutions and cross-chain bridging mechanisms
Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and smart contract security
Ability to analyze on-chain data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic relationships with DeFi projects, developers, and institutional partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strong leadership and collaboration abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams
