We are now looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join us.

💪🏻 What You'll Do
  • You will help us build and maintain scalable, reliable backend services that power Genesy AI’s sales automation engine. This includes core systems around lead processing, workflow orchestration (via Temporal), integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., CRMs, LinkedIn), data pipelines, and internal APIs.
  • You will work closely with Product and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality, with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and observability.
What We’re Looking For

🔎 Must-have:

  • 3+ years of experience in Backend development (preferably in Node.js / TypeScript).
  • Experience designing and building production-grade APIs and services.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience working with Temporal or similar workflow engines (or, at a minimum, proven ability to learn complex async systems quickly).
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Clear communication and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Writing clean, testable, well-documented code.
  • Advanced level of English. 

📍 Barcelona-based or open to relocating to our vibrant city.

➕ Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience in early-stage startups or fast-scaling environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems patterns.
  • Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or similar tooling.
  • CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with DDD (Domain Driven Design) or Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks (React) or full-stack development, even if light.
  • Interest in B2B SaaS, sales tech, or automation tools.
  • Experience working with third-party APIs at scale (e.g., LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce).
