The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll build and evolve high-scale backend systems that power internal platforms. From day one, you'll ship production-ready code, deliver features with speed and consistency, and own services end to end in a fast-moving, always-on environment. You'll work alongside engineers, architects, and product leaders to build reliable systems with real business impact. Your ideas will shape what comes next and your growth won't slow down.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting internal platforms and workflows.
- Own complex work from design through implementation, deployment, and long-term support.
- Develop and evolve microservices and event-driven systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers on full-stack features, contributing backend expertise.
- Participate in technical planning and design, helping scope work and manage tradeoffs.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, using logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
- Review code and provide backend-focused feedback to raise quality and consistency.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, reviews, and day-to-day technical guidance.
- Contribute to operational documentation, dashboards, and playbooks.
What You'll Bring
- At least 3 years of experience owning backend systems in production, with hands-on development in C# and .NET or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in building and scaling backend services and APIs within distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of system design principles, performance tuning, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures, and resolving production issues in real time.
- Familiarity with microservices, APIs, cloud platforms like AWS, and observability tools.
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript to effectively partner with frontend teams.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership, and experience mentoring peers across cross-functional initiatives.
