ReadyAPI allows teams to create, manage, and execute automated functional, security, and performance tests in one centralized interface.
With ReadyAPI development teams around the world (e.g. NASA, FedEx, ...) can test API types like REST, SOAP, Apache Kafka, MQTT. Record live API traffic, or virtualizing web services to remove pipeline dependencies. Finally integrates with GIT, JIRA, Slack, Jenkins and many more development tools.

About the role:
As a Senior Backend Engineer you will be working on developing the product functionalities and adding capabilities for our user. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers, and UX folks.
- Take part in development and integration of separate modules of application
- Solve challenges in different areas : architecture , async API, Desktop application, data modelling etc.
- Contribute to and hold when required technical discussions and requirement analysis with internal partners to drive alignment with product needs
- Drive high engineering standards engaging in peer design and code reviews, grooming sessions, etc.
- Make sure test coverage and code quality are in line with established guidelines
- Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, product managers geographically spread across our different locations
- Explore new Tools to increase the security and Delivery of the tasks.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 5+ years of Java development experience. Knowledge of Desktop application Development will be an added advantage.
- Working experience on Frontend Framework like ReactJS, Angular
- Problem solver with good analytical skills.
- Experience working with HTTP, REST API, Maven, Git,
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines driving automation and quality
- Knowledge of design patterns and performance best practices
- Experience in following would be a big plus: GraphQL, SOAP, Apache Kafka, MQTT, JIRA, OAuth2, Jenkins, JavaFX, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, Groovy
- Explorer of AI tools like co-pilot agent, Devin
- Good to have - Hands on frontend technology like ReactJs/Angular
