SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Backend developer to join our team and take our technology stack to new heights. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, spearheading the technical aspects of backend projects and guiding a talented team of developers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Play a central role in building complex and large scale systems that powers Placer.ai’s platform
• Measure, analyze and improve the performance, scalability and robustness of the product and processes
• Develop complex features end-to-end, from design to deployment, and take full ownership
• Assist team members to excel at their job by code and design reviews, and technical guidance
• Collaborate with Product, Analysts and Data science teams in order to improve the product’s quality and deliver new features

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience from B2B SaaS companies playing a central role on the core backend. 
• Minimum 8 years of professional backend experience. 
• Experience and Proficient in Python
• Experience with big data products, databases, and ecosystems
• Hands-on Experience working with dockers, K8, and infrastructure as a code tool.
• Strong coding skills and a “get-things-done” approach
• BSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent
