Senior Backend Engineer

We deploy AI agents that process billions of events every day to stop fraud, scams, and abuse, protecting millions of users. To enable this, we are building the real-time data and ML infrastructure that powers agentic AI systems and gives trustworthy platforms the upper hand against adversaries. We are hiring a senior backend engineer to design and scale the systems behind our AI agent platform, which is tackling some of the hardest adversarial problems in risk and safety. Fortune 500s and top-tier unicorns already rely on us, and we are just beginning to scale.

You’re a fit if you’re:

• Care deeply about craftsmanship and building elegant, reliable systems

• Have experience with distributed data stores such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Bigtable

• Know your way around streaming systems like Kafka or Pub/Sub

• Are excited to work with vector databases, LLMs, and real-time ML infrastructure to build world-class features

• Take ownership and ship backend systems from design through production

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of rate-limiting and abuse-prevention infrastructure

• Experience running systems in Kubernetes or container-based environments

• Design and ship real-time backend systems that power AI agents at scale

• Build data pipelines and ML infrastructure that support billions of daily events

• Scale our product into new industries through pilots, demos, and integrations

• Work directly with founders on massive-scale, adversarial problems
