Senior Backend Engineer - Octopus by RTG ( AI expertise)

Octopus by RTG is on a mission of connecting top notch ogranizations around the globe with top notch talents. We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems to support GenAI products.
• Build and optimize APIs to integrate machine learning models and frontend applications.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth data flow and functionality.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions for system performance and troubleshooting.
• Design caching and optimization strategies for AI inference

Requirements:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, Java).
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
