- Play an integral role in building our dynamic and versatile ecosystem, from technical design through development and deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services within a microservices architecture.
- Take part in implementing and expanding our proprietary APIs, which are used by numerous enterprise clients.
- Continuously develop and improve backend services supporting our existing web and mobile applications.
- Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies that improve the platform’s scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience developing SaaS products based on a microservices architecture.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with Docker, including containers, images, and Docker Compose.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, and testing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and EC2.
- Experience with managed infrastructure services such as Redis, OpenSearch, and SQS.
- Experience with Angular or React and CSS/SCSS.
- Experience with Leaflet, Ionic, or Capacitor.
- Experience with GIS systems or geospatial data.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based production environments.
