Your Mission
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to help us evolve our virtual mobile device orchestration platform Waldo. Thanks to your work, our customers will be able to instrument virtual mobile devices to record and replay automated tests for their mobile applications, and to analyse test results with the help of the comprehensive data we collect during the test execution. You would have ownership of the backend services running in AWS.
You would be:
- Proposing, designing and implementing changes in our backend platform services to support robust and reliable communication with our farm of virtual mobile devices, supporting new ways of instrumentation of those virtual devices to record test cases or perform playback of tests and collection of test results and troubleshooting data.
- Collaborating with our mobile engineers on improvements to mobile device instrumentation.
- Collaborating with the rest of the team to achieve high SLA for our services and using observability tools to detect and troubleshoot issues in our staging and production environments.
Qualification - Must Have
- Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript
- Experience architecting, designing, and implementing enhancements in SaaS based solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and Explorer mindset - ability to learn new things and solve complex problems
- Being able to switch to another language or tooling required to get the job done
Qualification - Nice to have
- Experience with AWS
- Experience using Observability tools (for example DataDog or New Relic, …)
- Knowledge of GO language
- Experience with Frontend development and knowledge of React
