🌟 Your Role
You’ll work across product and platform initiatives to:
Design and build scalable backend services using Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang
Lead the decomposition of our monolith into modular, service-oriented components
Drive performance and reliability improvements, leveraging async queues, caching strategies, and data modeling
Implement AI-powered features (personalization, automation, recommendations) in collaboration with Product and Data teams
Elevate our internal developer experience, integrating AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and streamlining CI/CD workflows
Engineer robust integrations with third-party APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems
Champion technical excellence across testing, observability, and system design
Shape the technical vision, actively contributing to architecture reviews and long-term platform strategy
🌟 About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and has a strong engineering backbone:
Proficient in on of these stacks Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Golang
Track record of building high-scale backend systems (millions of users, high throughput, distributed architecture)
Experience with service extraction and API-first designs
Solid grasp of distributed systems, async processing, observability, and modern caching strategies
Interest or hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in product or engineering contexts
Familiar with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and modern DevOps tooling
Collaborative, thoughtful communicator who enjoys leading cross-functional technical efforts
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Skills Required
