About the role:
As a OTR Senior Backend Engineer (C++ / C# / Java) you will work as part of an Agile development team to deliver capabilities for our Over the Road product suite. You will be joining a team of developers, testers, and product stakeholders who have a passion for creating value for our customers by simplifying the business of doing business. You will leverage the latest technology to improve the value, quality, stability and performance of our apps.

Experience you’ll bring:
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
Solid experience developing in C++/C#/Java.
Solid hands-on experience with Perl, Python, Informix, Postgres.
Good hands-on experience with REST API development.
Server and/or daemon Development with an emphasis on web/micro services.
Functional and Object Oriented Design and Development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable CI/CD experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Focus toward writing code like a beast.
Ability to pick up new technology and switch between tech stacks with a minimum of fuss.
Are comfortable working on backend code, services, data stores, and infrastructure.
Architecture and design capabilities.
Experience in writing modern software deployed in the cloud.
Are comfortable with encryption schemes, modern APIs, and frameworks.
Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively.
Adaptability, versatility and dependability as a member of a high functioning agile and dynamic team.
A test-driven development approach and enthusiasm to work and take responsibility for any stage within the software development life-cycle as required.
