As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who enjoys solving complex backend challenges, designing scalable systems, and thriving in a fast-paced environment where continuous learning, innovation, and AI-augmented development are part of everyday engineering.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js, as well as backend services using FastAPI
- Build high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database models
- Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or similar) as an integral part of the software development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, debugging, and code reviews
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional team members
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Perform code reviews and mentor other developers when needed
- Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and engineering best practices
- Work in an agile environment with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js backend development, along with hands-on experience developing backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Experience with frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js or similar
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures
- Strong experience in database design, data modeling, and SQL databases.
- Proven experience using AI-assisted coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or similar) to improve productivity while maintaining code quality, security, and engineering best practices
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience building REST APIs
- Experience with asynchronous programming
- Experience monitoring and debugging production systems
- Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles
- Experience with Git and Docker
- Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or modern hosting platforms such as Railway,Supabase
- Experience writing automated tests and ensuring code quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experience designing and implementing autonomous coding workflows using AI agents and orchestration patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
