Redis is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer to join our Redis Cloud R&D team in Sofia

In this role, you will develop and maintain the Redis Cloud management platforms (with over 200K users worldwide). You’ll take ownership of end-to-end development of essential customer-facing features in our SaaS product, directly impacting thousands of developers and enterprises.

What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain significant flows in the Redis Cloud management platform.
- Improve existing codebases and drive them to excellence, testability, and CI/CD readiness.
- Deliver new customer-facing features that enhance user experience.
- Collaborate closely with teammates, Product, DevOps, Support, Customer Success, and other R&D teams across Israel, Bulgaria, and abroad.
- Research and integrate new technologies and methodologies into Redis Cloud.
What will you need to have?
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Java or equivalent object-oriented programming languages.
- Proven ability to dive deep into complex systems and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Experience designing REST APIs.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.
- High-level English communication skills.
Extra great if you have:
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and SaaS environments.
- Experience with the Prometheus stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, etc.) for monitoring and observability.
- Experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
