We’re seeking a Back-End Engineer to build and integrate services that enable AI-powered features in our multitenant CCaaS platform. You will develop APIs and back-end logic that support transcript ingestion, model training orchestration, and results delivery.
This role is key to delivering seamless integration between machine learning workflows and user-facing features. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure our AI capabilities are well integrated and production-ready.
- Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
- Integrate with AWS resources to manage model triggers, batch jobs, and inference results.
- Ensure services are multitenant-aware and follow isolation and access control best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end and product teams to support user-facing workflows.
- Respond to escalated production issues, sometimes outside normal business hours.
- Implement monitoring and health checks for deployed services.
- 4+ years of experience building back-end services in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Comfortable with Python and one additional backend language (e.g., C#, Java).
- Experience integrating with ML workflows or inference APIs.
- Knowledge of multitenant architecture and security patterns.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana.
