Our Client, a forward-thinking fintech company, is looking for a skilled and experienced software engineer to join their expanding team. As the company scales, they seek talented individuals to support and drive their growth trajectory. As a Senior Back-End Engineer at Our Client, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure serverless solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS, PHP, Laravel, and SQL, among other relevant competencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and implement scalable serverless solutions on AWS, adhering to an API-first approach and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement OpenAPI specifications, ensuring consistency and high-quality deliverables.
- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
- Work closely with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive, high-quality solutions.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members of varying technical backgrounds.
- Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality, consistency, and best practices for the team.
- Ensure solutions are designed for testability and repeatability.
- Stay updated with the latest coding practices, security standards, and industry trends to enhance team success.
- Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Experience in the fintech or financial services sector is advantageous.
- Proven track record as a skilled back-end engineer using AWS products.
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- AWS certifications would be a plus.
- Ability to work with complex tech stacks and adopt an end-to-end perspective in solution development.
- Dedication to refining coding skills and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
