The Role

Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager to drive the delivery of Global Market solutions within bank. The roles require a strong understanding of trading systems, and processes, preferably front-to-back FX systems architecture.

We are looking for candidates with the following expertise:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with significant business analysis background, preferably in the financial services / banking industry.
  • Domain knowledge in global market products and system management in the finance sector
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business analyst in the mentioned domain space. The candidate will gather and document business requirements, perform detailed analysis to identify gaps and work with technology teams to propose solutions.
  • 5 years’ experience in project delivery. The successful candidate is to lead end-to-end product delivery for FX systems and new implementations. The candidate is to track project progress and monitor risks, dependencies and constraints, proactively address potential issues. The candidate is to provide regular status updates to senior management.
  • Adhere to waterfall / agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders and technology team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Proficiency in Jira, confluence, and other project management tools
  • Previous exposure to Global Banking streams and products is preferable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Good interpersonal / communication skills and team player, with the ability to effectively influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to lead initiatives with ownership.
  • Methodical, analytical, and organized, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese for cross border communication with our overseas offices in Taiwan / Mainland China regions.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

As part of the GM business Technology and Operations team, the role will be responsible for:

  • Analysing stakeholder requirements into business requirements document.
  • Formulating design and development proposals to enhance the global markets technology efficiency and meets Front office expectations
  • Delivering and supporting the Global markets platforms, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation and deployment of the deliverables.
  • Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
  • Contributing and assist existing support parties in resolving requests or issues with Front Office, P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
  • Interacting with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while taking into account business, technical and delivery constraints
  • Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions
