The Digital Data Platform is one main pillar of Bosch Rexroth Digital Strategy serving as data backbone for several digital initiatives. It’s key component is an Azure Cloud based data lake platform enabling cross domain & advanced data analytics use cases as well as governed self service by distributed teams.

Job Description

Our team is happy to welcome you. Here is what you will be doing if you choose to join the team: 

You will be working within data engineering team with significant focus on Cloud Lakehouse technology.
You will be demonstrating expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, etc., including knowledge of their syntax, libraries, frameworks, and tools.
You will be designing, building, operationalizing, securing, and monitoring data pipelines and data stores.
You will be following Data Ops best practices, emphasizing efficient and reliable data operations. Experience in CI/CD.
You will be apply data engineering standards and tools to create and maintain data pipelines.
You will perform extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes
You will be evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, data flows, and data stores. Acquiring and preparing data using on-premise, Azure cloud-based, and hybrid data engineering solutions.
You will be structuring, storing, and maintaining data to facilitate connections within and between data stores, applications, and organizations. Integrating data from various sources, including databases, APIs, third-party services, and external data providers.
You will be developing and maintaining specialist knowledge of database and data warehouse concepts, design principles, architectures, software, and facilities.
You will be collaborating with the Tech Lead and customers to understand data and quality requirements and provide appropriate solutions (functional and technical requirements).
You will be performing peer reviews of code developed by other team members to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Who you are:

You have proven experience on this or similar position with focus on Cloud Lakehouse technology
► You possess expert level knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate)
► You have demonstrated expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, etc., including knowledge of their syntax, libraries, frameworks, and tools.
► You have proficiency in designing, building, operationalizing, securing, and monitoring data pipelines and data stores
► You have experience with CI/CD
► You are familiar with Data Ops, emphasizing efficient and reliable data operations.
► You are familiar with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or MS Fabric (considered as beneficial)
► You are familiar with MS Entra (considered as beneficial)
► You bring high initiative and ability to work independently
 You have full working proficiency in English language
