cBEYONData is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Top Secret Clearance required) to join a data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) team supporting our federal client. This is a full-time position with on-site work performed at the client’s office.100% on-site, in Washington, DC or Chantilly, VA
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain AWS resources using Terragrunt/Terraform IaC framework
- Designing automation for cloud resources using DevOps best practices
- Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications
- Monitor and configure alerts for system CPU and memory usage
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
- Upgrade AWS RDS, maintain automated backups and resolve trusted advisor findings.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance required
- 100% on-site, in Washington, or Chantilly, VA
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt
- Knowledge of scripting languages (YAML, Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (i.e., Gitlab runner, git commands.)
- AWS Solution Architect Associate certification or relevant experience
- Good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices.
- Application and AWS security hardening experience/understanding (i.e. DISA STIG Remediation)
