We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java, selenium, AWS, or any other Cloud . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and create effective test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient testing processes.
- Use open search technologies like Elastic search, CassDB, Kakfa services to set up and manage test environments.
- Debug and resolve issues in automated tests and test environments.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
Required skills and proficiency :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software automation testing.
- Hands on experience testing SaaS applications, Rest APIs
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Strong experience with selenium Framework for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
