About the role:
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer , become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET, Playwright, Selenium, API automation, and Azure DevOps to build scalable automation frameworks and drive quality engineering across UI, API, and database layers. The role also involves leveraging AI tools and LLM-based solutions to improve test automation, productivity, and defect analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable C#/.NET automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing
- Develop robust automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, RestSharp/HttpClient, NUnit, and SpecFlow/Reqnroll
- Drive parallel and async test execution to reduce regression time and improve test stability
- Define automation strategies at Epic, Feature, and PBI levels, with a focus on risk-based testing and critical business flows
- Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including quality gates and automated reporting
- Analyze and reduce flaky tests, pipeline failures, and test-environment issues
- Leverage GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and custom GPT/LLM agents for test generation, code review, defect analysis, and automation acceleration
- Develop AI prompts/agents and track AI-driven automation productivity and adoption metrics
- Perform database validation using SQL Server/PostgreSQL and support API, performance, accessibility, and security testing
- Use Docker, Splunk/Datadog, and application logs for test execution and root-cause analysis
- Mentor QA Engineers/SDETs on automation architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and AI-assisted testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders within an Agile environment

- Basic knowledge of JMeter/nBomber, WCAG, JWT/OAuth2
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, ownership, and mentoring skills
- 7–12+ years of experience in QA Automation/SDET roles, with strong hands-on experience in C# automation framework development and CI/CD

Skills Required
- 3+ years of professional QA automation experience involving web and backend/API testing, including manual and automated testing
- Strong knowledge of testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies
- Experience creating or actively maintaining test documentation, including test strategies and test plans
- Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch
- Solid skills in C#, .NET, .NET Core, programming patterns, and programming principles
- Experience integrating test reporting using Allure or similar tools
- Experience creating automation scripts for UI and REST APIs using Selenium, RestSharp, or C# HttpClient
- Familiarity with NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, or SpecFlow
- Experience with BDD, ATDD, or TDD approaches
- Experience implementing continuous integration processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum or Kanban development environment
- Good English skills at Upper-Intermediate level or above
