Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Execute expert-level web service testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Implement advanced front-end automation utilizing Selenium or Playwright frameworks across various environments
- Perform log extraction and querying through Cloudwatch, Opensearch, and Kibana to support complex integration and regression testing
- Lead test automation architecture and implementation, designing robust frameworks from scratch
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to build and mentor a high-performing quality assurance community
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an automated tester using industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI)
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with AWS and Azure DevOps environments
- Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python, with experience in CI/CD automated builds and deployments
- Proven expertise in SCRUM/Agile processes and ticket management tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to prioritize workloads for self and team members while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills to engage both peers and delivery stakeholders effectively
Desirable:
- Experience with browser and OS testing using tools like BrowserStack or device farms
- Familiarity with the Product Operating Model and accessibility awareness
- Interest in AI-supported testing and innovative quality assurance methodologies
- Confident approach to identifying risks and escalating key issues as required
