Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Perform expert-level web service testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Design and execute advanced front-end automation utilizing Selenium or Playwright frameworks
- Conduct log extraction and querying via Cloudwatch, Opensearch, and Kibana to support integration and regression testing
- Manage ticket capture and workflows within Jira and maintain information repositories in Confluence
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to build a robust quality assurance community
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Tester using industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI)
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with AWS and Azure DevOps environments
- Proficiency in utilizing Xray or similar tools for comprehensive test case management
- In-depth understanding of SCRUM software and Agile development processes
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills to effectively engage with peers and delivery stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workloads for self and team members
Desirable:
- Experience with browser and OS testing using tools like BrowserStack
- Knowledge of the Product Operating Model and accessibility awareness
- Familiarity with device farm utilization and innovative testing methodologies
- Confident approach to identifying risks and escalating key issues as required
