We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our Managed IaaS team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our set of self-service automations that drive our digital products. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that our private cloud environment is functioning optimally and meets the needs of our organization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to, Ansible Automation Platform, AWX and Aria Automation
- Lead and innovate situations that are not up to date with today’s technology
- Build and update hybrid cloud solutions using AWS and VMware
- Automate legacy processes using GitOps way of working

Who you are
- You are proficient in developing and managing automation workflows using Aria Automation components (Orchestrator, Assembler, Service Broker)
- You possess strong skills in writing and executing Ansible playbooks, with experience in AWX for automation management
- You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- You have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc
- You are proficient in integrating systems using API calls, including RESTful and SOAP APIs
- You have experience with Kubernetes and continous delivery tools for it, such as Argo CD
- You possess strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- You have a background/basic knowledge in various technologies that make up on-prem infrastructure (various operating systems administration, databases, virtualization, etc)
- You have experience applying security best practices and baselines such as CIS or STIG
- You are fluent in Markdown and have a long history of documentation written
Who you will work with
You will be part of the Managed IaaS Enablement team, responsible for driving the entire automation adoption within our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will be working closely with our digital products teams and assist them in integrating their automations in such a way in which our customers have access to a wide range of self-service automations. You will be taking initiatives and apply agile methodologies to achieve the goals set for every sprint.
