We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer – Automation to join our engineering team and contribute to the quality of our products through effective and scalable automation. In this hands-on role, you'll work on enhancing our automation frameworks, expanding test coverage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain automated test suites for cloud-native applications and services
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product stakeholders to identify test areas with high ROI
Develop reusable test components and contribute to automation infrastructure improvements
Analyze test results, identify issues, and participate in defect resolution discussions
Support CI/CD integration efforts by embedding automation into build and release workflows
Qualifications: BE/B.Tech or higher is the desired qualification.
Mandatory:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality and Automation role
- Experience working with SaaS solutions and microservices environment
- Strong Python scripting knowledge
- Experience with manual QA and Automation with Playwright or any other UI automation tool
- Experience with at least one of the three major hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
Nice to Have:
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform
- Awareness of observability and performance testing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jmeter etc.)
