Who are we looking for?

Our Northeast Engineering Design Organization (EDO) is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join the I&C/Automation team in King of Prussia, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative thinker—someone who thrives on exploring new approaches to system design and reimagining how existing processes can be improved. As a key member of our growing automation group, you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary partners across the region and throughout North America. Success in this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be deeply involved in supporting client needs, contributing to impactful engineering solutions, and working effectively as part of a highperforming operationsfocused team.

You will play an influential role in delivering complex automation and control system projects, from upfront scope development and cost estimation through technical design, documentation, and implementation. Your work will span the electrical design of industrial automation systems, development of detailed drawing packages, and creation and integration of robust process control software. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, support the specification of field instrumentation, and contribute to the design of industrial communications infrastructure. You will also play a key part in system checkout and startup activities, helping ensure that each solution is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with industry and municipal standards.

Be part of the dynamic culture! Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.

  • Engineering Drawings: Create complex engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.

  • Engineering Solutions Design: Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief (for example, in terms of functionality, performance, aesthetics, and cost) that conforms to organizational and/or regulatory standards.
  • Client & Customer Management (External): Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.

What you’ll bring to the team:
