The Senior Automation Engineer is proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell/Bash which is crucial for automating routine tasks and enhancing system reliability. Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential for modern SRE practices. The Senior Automation Engineer provides a practical foundation for understanding the complexities of system reliability and scalability. The Senior Automation Engineer should also have skills in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, which are pivotal in maintaining high system uptime and rapid deployment cycles. Additionally, expertise in monitoring and logging tools is necessary to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or related field
- 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
- certifications such as AWS/GCP/Azure Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
- Demonstrate a formal understanding of key technologies used in SRE or previous roles in DevOps or SRE
- Experience in system administration, network management
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science/information technology or related field

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$95,300 - $131,200 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
