Job Description:
As part of the APAC Automation Solutions Team the Senior Automation Engineer will work with the Lead Automation Engineer and Solution Architect to design, develop, deploy, and support intelligent automation solutions. The role requires expertise in UiPath, Python,VBA, Azure AI, CI/CD, AI-powered automation and enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to identify automation opportunities and define technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation solutions using UiPath and related technologies.
- Develop Python applications, REST APIs, automation utilities, and AI integrations.
- Build and maintain modern web automation solutions using Playwright.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git for automated deployment and release management.
- Integrate automation solutions with Azure services, enterprise applications, databases, and cloud APIs.
- Conduct technical feasibility assessments, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure solutions meet security, performance, and governance standards.
- Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Intelligent Automation, RPA, or Software Development.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation solutions.
Technical Skills
Automation & RPA
- Strong hands-on experience with UiPath across the automation lifecycle.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or other LLM-based solutions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Good knowledge of REFramework, reusable architecture and Orchestrator.
- Experience with Document Understanding, AI Centre, Integration Service, Apps, and Action Centre.
- Experience implementing Agentic Automation, Copilot, AI Agents, and Human-in-the-Loop solutions.
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is an advantage.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation, APIs, scripting, AI integration, and data processing.
- Experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, Logic Apps, and Azure AI Services is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying automation solutions using Azure DevOps.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with ERP, Finance, HR, Media, and other enterprise applications.
