This position is located in Arlington, VA and is in office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure robust and scalable testing solutions.

• Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports.

• Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands to deliver optimal outcomes.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Test Automation regarding platforms, development, and processes, providing technical leadership and guidance.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation within code and in non-technical terms, including detailed best practices, test script summaries.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge with peers.

• Maintain API Automation testing framework.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college  

• A track record of commitment to prior employers

• 5+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with deep expertise in quality processes, tools, and metrics, including the development of testing strategies from the ground up

• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including architecture design, development, and scripting, as well as strong expertise in API and Web Services testing

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases with relational databases (administration and T-SQL).

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written, and verbal skills.

• Proven capacity to effectively interface with dynamic development teams.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and proactive.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Agile/Scrum experience.
