Key Responsibilities
We have secured a 4-year contract with SSEN, providing support across their ED2 Distribution Network Programme. We will be providing services across all distribution assets, including, underground cabling and substations on LV, 11kV, and 33kV networks. From the 1st May 2024, our teams will be working across the Lincoln area.
Experience and Qualifications
To apply for the role of senior authorised person, you must be trained and experienced as a site engineer (authorised person) for switching and managing work on Low Voltage and High Voltage networks. You will also require the following:
- Experience working with Low voltage and High voltage electrical system components, plant and equipment.
- Experience working on construction, maintenance and fault investigation projects.
- Understanding of underground and overhead electrical systems
- A minimum of a Higher National Certificate, equivalent qualification or an electrical Senior Authorised Person authorisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good numerical skills to manage internal and external relationships.
- Experience of working on an Overhead Lines, Underground Cabling and/or Substations contract previously
- Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card
- Hold a valid First Aid Qualification
- DNO operational authorisation (SSEN)
- Clean Driving Licence
