We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our high-performing, agile team of auditing professionals. This is a career-defining opportunity to work for a technology leader with a global footprint.

As a Senior Auditor, you will oversee internal audit engagements from planning through to completion across the entire organization. Your tasks will include planning the audit process, conducting research, reviewing current processes, and providing recommendations to enhance company policies, procedures, and overall processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and risks that matter to the business
  • Plan, evaluate and create a report for simple to medium complex risk-based audits ensuring compliance with the audit standards, including reviewing business areas, checking compliance with applicable laws, detecting ineffective or inefficient practices and verifying financial records
  • Assess the existence, efficiency, and effectiveness of the business control environment
  • Review company policies, procedures, and processes; perform an evaluation of control design; and carry out an assessment of the effectiveness of company internal controls concerning business processes
  • Report and present findings to the business, creating recommendations for solutions and improvements to processes/policies/procedures
  • Monitor the fulfillment of audit recommendations and organize the necessary steps to ensure their timely implementation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • 3+ years working in internal audit
  • Relevant professional certificates (such as CIA, CISA, ACCA or similar) are preferred
  • Broad understanding of core business processes
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment, and strong business acumen
  • ICT and telecommunication industry understanding preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on knowledge of ERP and GRC systems
