About the role

You will work closely with experienced Managers, Directors and Partners across a variety of industry sectors, liaising directly with the clients and supervising more junior team members. You will build strong relationships with clients and ask questions that cut to the heart of their business to understand the risk, responding with technical expertise, intuition and insight.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop a detailed understanding of clients' business operations, processes, and financial reporting systems
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with clients to address their business challenges and help them achieve their objectives
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and standards
About you
- 3+ years of experience in external auditing
- Proficient with IFRS standards
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team of junior auditors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred
- Solid organisation and time management
- Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously
- Ability to have fun
