OVERVIEW
ATLAS CPAs & Advisors PLLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our growing audit team. This role works closely with Partners, Directors, Managers and clients to support audit engagements . preparing and reviewing workpapers, evaluating internal controls, and working directly with clients and engagement teams throughout the audit process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
This is an onsite position based in our Colorado Springs office and required in-office attendance 5 days per week.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
$85,000 - 100,000 per year. Compensation is based on several factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience and education, geographic location, and current market trends.

Must be able to operate a variety of machines and equipment, including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc. Tasks may require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. - Maintain effective communication with clients and respond to their audit-related inquiries;
- Ensure proper file management practices while upholding client confidentiality;
- Collaborate with team members and provide support across audit projects as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written;
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service;
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- Proficient in using audit and accounting software such as CCH;
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS);
- Strong commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality;
- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required;
- CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred;
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm;
