Job description Senior Associate - Fund Accounting
Responsible for the review and processing of complex alternative investments. Career level professional leading small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative. Demonstrates specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions. Recommends new procedures. Minimally requires a Master's degree and 1 years of related experience, Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or high school degree and 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
- Experience/knowledge in alternative investments, with a focus on private equity
- The ideal candidate should be highly motivated; a self-starter who can meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel knowledge (Pivot Table, Sumif, V-lookup)
- Analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex alternative investment data
- Tech savvy, ability to quickly learn new technology
- Team player mentality with ability to partner with various departments and levels
- 1-3 years working experience in financial services
