The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional’s distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set.  GCG is responsible for developing new business relationships, as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. GCG are a group of business development and client service professionals working closely together to build strong relationships with the largest and most sophisticated asset owners in the country. We take the time to gain an understanding of clients’ evolving needs, identify where we can add value and collaborate to provide a better investment experience. 

 

The Role:  

Our Enterprise Group is responsible for working with head-offices and wealth management firms across the country. This Senior Associate role will support Regional Directors with the development of new business opportunities and service Australia based clients. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join a collaborative, high calibre and growing team in an organisation that has a strong track record of promoting from within. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Articulate complex investment principles and capital market research to financial institutions. 

  • Educate clients and prospects on why and how our portfolio solutions are constructed and work the way they do. 

  • Develop and facilitate the production of responses to complex client driven requests among a team of associates and analysts. 

  • In conjunction with the CRG Manager, mentor and grow a team of high-performing associates and analysts. 

  • Interact with advisors on practice management related issues. 

  • Develop a robust understanding of the Enterprise business and related business practices. 

  • Travel with Regional Directors and develop strong business and personal relationships with key clients. 

  • Demonstrable strategic thought in growing the financial institutions group business. 

  • Developing and constructing complex portfolio analysis for clients and prospects. 

  • Identifying and discussing key findings of portfolio analyses to clients. 

  • Delivering educational investment related webinars to advisor clients. 

 
Desirable experience and attributes: 

  • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry. 

  • Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. 

  • A strong sense of professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards. 

  • Demonstration of initiative, accountability and a focus on delivering consistent quality work. 

  • Commitment to the philosophy and process underlying Dimensional’ s investment approach. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key selling points in a clear and compelling manner. 

  • Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently. 

  • Ability to prioritise and exercise time management skills. 

  • A proven track record and history of sales success is preferable. 

  • Strong analytical skills. 

  • Detail orientated. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree required. MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred. 

  • Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed  

  • Solid quantitative problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
