PineBridge Investments is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President, Business Development.

Primary Responsibilities:

The position is based in Korea and the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include all of the following:

  • Support relationship management activities for existing and prospective institutional clients in Korea, acting as a local point of coordination and facilitating communication between clients and relevant regional teams.
  • Conduct research on institutional investors, industry developments, market trends, consultant activity, and competitive landscape to support business development planning and client engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate and respond to client requests, inquiries, due diligence materials, data requests, and other information needs by working closely with investment, client relations, product, compliance, and other internal teams.
  • Organize and support client meetings, due diligence sessions, portfolio review meetings, conference calls, and visits, including scheduling, preparation of meeting materials, attendance, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, translation, and review of client presentations, reports, questionnaires, RFI/RFP submissions, and other client-related documentation.
  • Coordinate client onboarding and account maintenance activities in partnership with Client Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams, including documentation, KYC/AML requirements, account setup processes, and related administrative matters.
  • Support ongoing servicing of institutional client relationships by monitoring requests, ensuring timely responses, and maintaining a high standard of client experience.
  • Liaise with regional and global stakeholders across Sales, Client Relations, Investments, Product Management, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and other functions to facilitate efficient communication and workflow management.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of client events, conferences, roadshows, and firm-sponsored activities, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records in CRM systems, prepare pipeline and management reports, and support data management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the firm's organizational structure, investment capabilities, products, and client servicing model to effectively coordinate client-related activities.
  • Support internal projects relating to client servicing, operational efficiency, regulatory matters, reporting enhancements, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset management, financial services, institutional client servicing, or business development support.
  • Understanding of institutional investors and investment products.
  • Fluent in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable with strong follow-through.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively across regions and functions.
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance awareness.
