The Senior Associate, Third-Party Clearinghouse – BPO Category, is responsible for supporting the oversight and optimization of business process outsourcing (BPO) supplier relationships within Humana’s Marketing division. This role centers on supplier management, data integrity, operational compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives relating to BPO partners. The Senior Associate collaborates with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient use of BPO suppliers, supporting organizational goals of operational excellence and compliant practices.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes by coordinating requests from business partners and collecting relevant supplier data
Support day-to-day management of BPO suppliers used within Marketing, including monitoring performance metrics, maintaining documentation, and coordinating issue resolution
Facilitate the handoff of supplier data and operational requirements to Procurement partners for contract management and execution
Assist with compliance checks to ensure all BPO activities align with Humana’s standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise policies
Prepare and review reports on supplier throughput, error rates, and delivery metrics to inform operational decision-making
Contribute to relationship-building efforts with BPO suppliers by supporting capability assessments, and utilization tracking
Collaborate with Marketing, IT and Compliance teams to address process improvements and optimize supplier performance
Maintain awareness of BPO industry trends, supplier offerings, and best practices; surface new capabilities to internal stakeholders as appropriate
Assist in the development and updating of operational dashboards and process documentation
Promote the awareness and adoption of approved enterprise BPO suppliers, sharing information about their capabilities and successes with the Marketing organization

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations, Marketing, Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BPO supplier management, vendor coordination, or a related operational role
Understanding of supplier management processes, compliance standards, and business process optimization principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Familiarity with marketing operations, performance reporting, or vendor management systems
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks to completion
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare or marketing operations
Experience with reporting tools and dashboards
Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
