Role Summary
As a Senior Associate, Tester you will be a member of the Clinical Supply Distribution Solutions organization. The mission of the Clinical Supply Distribution Solutions team is to help bring medicines to patients through the delivery of impactful and sustainable technology solutions for the Global Clinical Supply Chain functions of Pfizer by providing the talent for technology planning, project execution and application development excellence.
The Tester within the Clinical Supply Distribution Solutions team will be responsible for working closely with the Test Lead to understand and finalize the test strategy towards a software release. The Tester will author and dry run test scripts to support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities. As part of the Software Development Lifecycle, the tester will follow Pfizer's review and approval process and will be responsible for documenting any identified defects or deviations from the expected outcome. In addition, the tester will work with the script reviewers to ensure any review comments are properly addressed and remediated and will assist business team members in the formal execution of User Acceptance Test scripts.
Key responsibilities include reviewing functional requirements and application implementation to author and dry run a test script to verify the system functions as expected. This position will partner with project leadership, the Test Lead, other Pfizer Digital service providers, and business team members.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work in team environment with Pfizer colleagues as well as vendor partners.
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Provision of testing insight to ensure the quality and maintenance of existing production systems.
  • Creation, review, approval, and execution for all test scripts.
  • Creation of detailed and comprehensive test scripts based on requirements, user stories, and technical specifications .
  • Provision of regular updates on testing progress, including test results, defect status, and overall findings.
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of the existing testing processes and methodologies by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.


Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with an emphasis on application testing and verification activities.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong capabilities developing and executing test scripts.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in understanding information systems.
  • Capability of understanding requirements and designing a test strategy to ensure the system fulfills the requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical writing / documentation.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and familiarity with related practices and tools.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management System and Core Informatics Platform-For-Science.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Programming language exposure.
