About the role
As the Strategy and Performance Senior Associate, you will play a key role in shaping the strategies that drive customer value, retention, and growth across AGL’s Residential and SME customer base. Working within the Customer Value Optimisation (CVO) team, you will help unlock commercial opportunities through data-driven insights, strategic planning, and performance analysis.
You will lead and support strategic initiatives, translating complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable recommendations. Partnering with stakeholders across Customer Markets and the broader business, you will influence decision-making, support business planning, and drive alignment on key priorities. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on customer outcomes, business performance, and the long-term value of AGL’s customer portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
Shape the Strategy – Help define and evolve the Customer Value Optimisation (CVO) roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities that drive customer value, business growth, and strategic outcomes.
Lead Strategic Initiatives – Drive the delivery of key cross-functional projects and customer process improvements, turning strategy into measurable business results.
Unlock Insights Through Data – Use data, analytics, and market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating insights into clear recommendations that influence business decisions.
Drive Performance & Decision Making – Define and monitor success metrics, optimise reporting and dashboards, and provide visibility of performance to support informed, data-driven decisions.
Influence Through Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Create compelling business performance and strategy updates, partnering with stakeholders across Customer Markets and the broader business to align priorities and drive outcomes.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in strategy, business planning, data analysis and market research.
Strong financial modelling skills with proficiency in relevant software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefit realisation.
Results driven with a focus on achieving key performance indicators.
