Your role at a glance

The Senior Associate Specialist, System Support & Data plays a critical operational role within Procurement, supporting the implementation, stabilization, and ongoing optimization of finance systems and data solutions. This role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of financial data and processes while acting as a key liaison between finance teams, IT, and transformation initiatives.
The role supports the execution of finance technology and data strategy by troubleshooting system issues, maintaining master data, validating reporting outputs, and assisting with system upgrades, process automation, and user adoption. By providing hands-on system and data support, the Senior Associate Specialist enables the smooth operation of procurement systems, enhances data integrity, and contributes to continuous process improvement across Procurement and its interconnected business functions.
Through collaboration with finance stakeholders, IT, and transformation teams, the role helps ensure technology solutions deliver operational efficiency, accurate reporting, and measurable value to the organization.

What we are looking for

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Systems & Data Operations

  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of procurement systems, platforms, and data solutions, while contributing to finance, cross-functional, and transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business value.
  • Assist in the execution of procurement and enterprise system and data initiatives, including system upgrades, feature enhancements, process automation, and reporting/dashboard development, ensuring solutions align with business requirements, stakeholder needs, and operational priorities
  • Translate procurement process requirements and strategic objectives into actionable system configurations, data solutions, and process improvements, while incorporating the needs of Finance and other business functions and leveraging emerging technologies such as automation, analytics, and AI.
  • Monitor system performance, data quality, and evolving technology capabilities across procurement and related business processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen data integrity, and support the effective adoption of new tools and solutions across the organization.

Finance Systems Support & Implementation

  • Support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of finance system solutions, ensuring smooth migration from legacy platforms.
  • Assist in the delivery and rollout of system features and enhancements, ensuring accuracy, usability, scalability, and compliance with finance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, configure, and troubleshoot systems, supporting iterative improvements and efficient adoption of new tools.

System & Data Controls and Risk Support

  • Support the establishment and maintenance of system and data controls to ensure adherence to finance processes and policies globally.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant system procedures, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and report system or data-related risks, dependencies, and anomalies, escalating critical issues and supporting mitigation efforts.
  • Act as a point of contact for system or data exceptions, assisting in resolution and ensuring process integrity.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Serve as a key liaison between finance, IT, business units, and external vendors to support system and data initiatives.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to understand user needs, communicate system updates, and facilitate adoption of finance technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment on priorities and support implementation efforts.
  • Partner with the Change Management team to assist with training, communications, and adoption of new systems and processes.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Understanding of finance operations such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A, and reporting cycles. Hands-on experience with ERP and source-to-pay platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Coupa, Ariba), including procurement and financial data management, reporting, system support, and process optimization. Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in process automation, workflow configuration, and digital transformation technologies are required, including analytics and BI platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps and Power Automate), and advanced technologies such as AI and RPA. Knowledge of master data management, data validation, reconciliation, and reporting integrity.
  • Understanding of finance compliance requirements, regulatory frameworks, and internal control structures.
  • Ability to participate in UAT, configure system features, troubleshoot issues, and support system rollouts.
  • Ability to interpret system and data issues, identify patterns, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve system, process, and data-related challenges efficiently.
  • Precision in handling data, system configurations, and reporting outputs to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Works effectively with finance, IT, business units, vendors, and change teams to deliver results.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, transformation-focused environment; learns quickly and adapts to new systems and processes.
  • Able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Focused on operational excellence, process improvement, and supporting business needs through system and data solutions.
  • Takes responsibility for system and data quality, process adherence, and timely issue resolution.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications like CPA, ACCA, CMA, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) or PMP, is advantageous.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience supporting finance transformation initiatives, particularly in system implementation, process automation, or data optimization projects.
  • Moderate experience contributing to finance systems operations, including configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support across ERP or reporting platforms.
  • Moderate experience working with finance systems, data tools, and analytics platforms, supporting system performance monitoring, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Moderate experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, business units, and external vendors, to facilitate system adoption, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Moderate experience supporting operational excellence or process improvement initiatives, including maintaining controls, compliance standards, and governance in finance systems and data.
  • Moderate experience assisting with training, documentation, and change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of new finance systems, processes, and tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Perform work during US business hours and time zones.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Some Travel may be required.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.

Compensation Pay Range

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
