Senior Associate, Solution Engineering (Java Full stack Developer)– Pune, India

You will be working with a team of engineers with a broad range of responsibilities including all aspects of software engineering like requirements understanding and validation, solution design detailed design, development, testing and software configuration management. Build products, systems, and services that are optimized, well organized and maintainable, and have a high impact on our end users.

Role Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
  • Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
  • Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
  • Design layered application, including user interface, business functionality, and database access.
  • Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% and unit test coverage and 70% integration test coverage
  • Thorough code reviews.
  • Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts
  • Share engineering support and release
  • Breaks down the problem into its constituent parts; evaluates the available solution options while solving problems
  • Seeks to understand business needs, builds credibility by providing relevant inputs, integrates PO’s feedback and delivers as per commitments
  • Can prioritize individual tasks based on project criticalities, proactively plans based on critical inputs from historical data, analyses work output and plans for contingencies

Role Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, Java design patterns
  • Demonstrated experience in Java, Servlet, JavaScript, Spring, Angular14, PostgreSQL, JUNIT, HTML, CSS
  • Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
  • Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure
  • Knowledge of package, Tools, techniques, libraries, reusable components to perform, optimize & troubleshoot complex technical tasks independently
  • Working knowledge of preventive & corrective maintenance practices (like RCA); to remove and prevent defects
  • Knowledge of testing tools & techniques to write test scripts & set up test environment for at least one type of testing like integration, system etc.
  • Knowledge of design methodologies & patterns to translate high level architectural solutions to detailed design.
  • Experience with JavaScript is good to have.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery) would be a plus.
