Job Summary
As a Securities Based Lending Specialist in the Securities Based Lending team, you play a key role in supporting clients by structuring and managing credit solutions. You work closely with market partners to deliver high-quality lending services, ensuring transactions align with risk and credit standards. Your contributions help maintain the firm's reputation for excellence and support our commitment to responsible lending.
Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze client investment portfolios and structure securities-based lending transactions
  • Price, risk-grade, and document lines of credit, term loans, and standby letters of credit
  • Review and approve new deals, amendments, and annual reviews within credit authority
  • Provide guidance to market partners on client needs and credit solutions
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and risk management standards
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless client service
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks
  • Support ongoing process improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent prior experience
  • Three years of private banking, asset management, or credit/lending experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • General understanding of financial markets and securities industry
  • Ability to work well in an integrated team environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity
  • Eligibility to work in the region/country of the role

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience with securities-based lending products
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with credit risk assessment tools
  • Prior experience in a high-volume lending environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for lending
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
