As a Senior Asssociate Quant Analytics within Banking Payments analytics, you will support the Wires and International Payments Product Team. You will leverage your analytical skills and domain knowledge to make data actionable and accessible, helping drive product strategy and operational excellence. You will collaborate with product owners and cross-functional partners to deliver insights and reporting that inform business decisions and improve payment platforms.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with Payments Product Owners to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions for wires and international payments.
  • Develop and maintain queries, reports, and dashboards using large database platforms (DB2, SQL, AWS) to support product management and operations.
  • Combine and analyze data from multiple sources to deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data models, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the product, operations, and analytics teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
  • Communicate complex analytical concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Champion data and analytics best practices within the payments product group.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of analytics experience or 3+ years of related technical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Alteryx, SAS, Python for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with large-scale databases (Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, AWS, or similar).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foundational understanding of banking and payments industry concepts.

Preferred qualifictions,capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience in banking, payments, operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance.
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts and applications.
