About the Opportunity

The Program Manager is a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of Grubhub's innovative Ancillary Programs on university campuses. You will be at the forefront of these initiatives, responsible for the day-to-day coordination, execution, and support of program rollouts. This role involves a blend of logistical coordination, vendor management, and direct interaction with the program assets and the campus community. You'll work closely with the Strategic Partnerships and Client Success teams to provide on-site assistance, proactively address any operational challenges, and contribute to the growth and success of these exciting initiatives. Your primary focus will be to maximize program adoption, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure a positive experience for students and campus partners.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Support Ancillary Programs deployments (including frictionless convenience, locker pickup, reusable containers and more) in collaboration with Client Success, Sales, and Support teams by coordinating timelines, aligning stakeholders, and tracking progress.

  • Assist in the development and refinement of implementation processes across campuses and ancillary partners, with a focus on consistency, documentation, and efficiency.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to intake, track, and prioritize product feedback related to Ancillary Program operations.

  • Coordinate beta testing efforts for new Ancillary Program products/features in partnership with product and engineering teams, including scheduling, communication, and issue tracking.

  • Monitor key operational metrics in collaboration with providers to identify areas for improvement and support daily delivery efficiency.

  • Support Client Success Managers in evaluating and maintaining ancillary program operations, assisting with expansion opportunities and performance analysis.

  • Collaborate with providers to help plan and execute marketing initiatives across campuses.

  • Maintain documentation, training materials, and shared knowledge resources to promote information sharing and operational readiness.

  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day communications with external providers, escalating issues to senior team members as needed.

  • Help collect and organize performance data for reporting and analysis, assisting in identifying trends or potential improvements.

  • Participate in the development of business cases or pilot proposals by gathering data, stakeholder input, and supporting materials.

  • Participate in process improvement discussions to suggest and help test workflow enhancements.

  • Assist with regular operational reviews and reporting to ensure compliance with standards and internal benchmarks.

  • Travel up to 10–15% to support deployments and special initiatives as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience in program coordination, client success, operations, or business support roles; experience in a startup or tech environment a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a collaborative mindset

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization or project management tools (e.g., Tableau, Asana, Monday.com) a plus

  • Willingness to learn and grow within a cross-functional operations team
