Who You'll Work With
We are looking for a Taiwan-based Senior Associate Portfolio Manager (Senior APM) specializing in Multi-Asset strategies, with a primary focus on Taiwan Discretionary Investment Management (DIM) portfolios.
The Senior APM will lead the DIM Portfolio Management Group (PMG) team and work closely with the DIM Portfolio Manager, Senior Portfolio Managers and global investment teams. The role combines portfolio implementation and team oversight with investment analysis, including fund research, portfolio simulations and market analysis.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of multi-asset investments, portfolio management and Taiwan DIM regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
The Senior Associate Portfolio Manager will work closely with the DIM Portfolio Manager and Senior Portfolio Management Team. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Lead the DIM PMG team and oversee day-to-day portfolio management and implementation activities.
- Partner with the DIM Portfolio Manager on fund and market analysis, portfolio simulations, risk analysis and portfolio construction.
- Implement investment strategies across DIM accounts and funds in accordance with portfolio objectives, client guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage account-level activities, including portfolio monitoring, investment restrictions, client cash flows and client requests.
- Prepare and review investment and regulatory reports for Taiwan DIM portfolios.
- Work with Senior Portfolio Managers and global investment teams to translate investment views into portfolio implementation.
- Coordinate with Legal/Compliance, Trading, Sales/Marketing, Investment Operations, Accounting and other internal stakeholders.
- Lead or support initiatives involving new strategies, investment instruments and portfolio management processes.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to expand the team’s data capabilities by sourcing, evaluating, and integrating relevant alternative and third‑party datasets.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant investment management industry experience, including 5+ years of Taiwan DIM experience, with strong knowledge of Taiwan DIM regulations, investment guidelines and restrictions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
- Strong investment and quantitative analytical skills, including fund analysis, market analysis and portfolio simulations with good understanding of Multi-Asset investments, including Equities, Fixed Income, Fund of Funds and Derivatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with Portfolio Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with regional and global investment teams.
Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professional certification is required
