Job Title - Senior Associate – Marketing & Communications (Email Marketing & Automation)
About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven Senior Associate – Marketing & Communications to lead Bhumi’s email marketing and audience engagement initiatives across volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.
Success in this role means increased audience engagement and improved marketing outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Build and optimize automated email journeys, drip campaigns, newsletters, donor communication flows, volunteer engagement campaigns, and event communication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling email content aligned with campaign goals
- Track, analyze, and report campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, conversions, and subscriber engagement.
- Support campaign planning and communication strategy for volunteering initiatives, donor engagement, events, and organizational announcements
Other Responsibilities
- Contribute to broader MarComms initiatives including social media campaigns, storytelling projects, and digital outreach.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in email marketing, marketing automation, CRM systems, and audience engagement
- Document campaign learnings, templates, workflows, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing
Educational Qualification / Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation, or marketing communications.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or related field.
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in NGOs, social impact organizations, community engagement, or purpose-driven brands is an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skill sets required
- Strong expertise in email marketing strategy, campaign execution, and automation workflows.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills. Good understanding of CRM systems, customer journeys, and audience engagement practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance High attention to detail and strong execution skills.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
