We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our Finance Change Management and Operations team. Reporting to the Manager, Finance Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Finance Transformation initiatives. The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing and developing learning solutions that align with Oxford's strategic goals. Core duties include instructional design, e-learning development, and the creation of training materials to support the new Finance ERP system and process modernization initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire Finance function and gain exposure to various aspects of the team.

As a member of this team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, delivering, and managing a suite of learning solutions for both organization-wide and team-specific needs, leveraging modern learning technologies for scalability and engagement.
  • Creating multimedia eLearning courses using tools such as Articulate 360 and Yardi Aspire, and ensuring quality through rigorous testing.
  • Working closely with Change Management and subject matter experts to ensure training aligns with broader business strategies.
  • Developing materials for blended learning programs, including facilitator guides, training videos, decks, and handouts, all aligned with Oxford’s learning strategy.
  • Scheduling and coordinating training sessions, communications, and updates.
  • Offering live support during training sessions, such as chat-based troubleshooting via MS Teams.
  • Managing the Oxford Global Finance and Technology learning experience platform, including course catalogues and learning pathways.
  • Assessing training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback, and refining programs based on data.
  • Providing technical support for the learning management system as needed.
  • Delivering timely and efficient execution of all training-related tasks.

To succeed in this role, you have: 

  • Post Secondary Education in learning/ Adult Education Certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, or related fields with knowledge of the finance function or real estate industry. 
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 or Yardi Articulate; familiarity with tools like Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud is considered an asset.
  • Experience with MS Teams, Office 365, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptionally organized and meticulous, with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop relationships at all levels.   
  • A growth mindset, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for driving meaningful change.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Excellent PowerPoint, storyboarding and visualization skills. 

This posting is for an existing vacancy.
The expected salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
